Conventional wisdom says that teachers unions spend their money on democrat lawmakers and, nearly all of the time, that’s correct. But they also spend big on a select few GOP lawmakers, mostly in the south. That spending just so happens to be in the very areas that lag in establishing schools choice programs – and that is no coincidence.
